Addictions are a difficult problem to detect and complex in their treatment. Patients and families who seek help do so when there are serious consequences that require, to overcome the addiction, of a complete professional treatment program that includes many factors.

Therefore, it is vitally important to devote efforts to prevention and, when the first symptoms appear, to intervene early, which allows to overcome the addiction before reaching phases of greater severity.

In this field, the MonteAlminara addiction Treatment Center develops a comprehensive program of prevention and early detection of addictions that is supported by three main pillars:

Family orientation.
Youth prevention campaigns aimed at youth and adolescents in schools, associations and clubs.
Training and sensitization of teachers, educators and other professionals.

Family counseling

It is essential to act directly with the parents and relatives of young people to promote their correct development and avoid the appearance of addictions and other risk behaviors.

Youth prevention

It is a highly demanded service due to the need to adequately prepare young people and the scarcity of specialized resources available today.

Teacher training

It is carried out in collaboration with educational and teacher training centers. The objective is to share the experience of the MonteAlminara Center with education professionals.
